IS THIS COLLEYS BEST COACHING JOB?

He has the smallest D2 team in the state and still won region. In 91-93 they had some big time names comin back, so you knew they was goin to be good. I can only think of a couple on this team, but then again I dont live in Haysi no more.

I would have to say yes. He has done a great job to put people this year in the places they need to be. Plus he has had some kids emerge and come into their own at different positions. I saw a big turn in this team when Counts got is motor going again and when it seemed Compton got some confidence in his recievers. So i think team wise these guys have played as a team more than any other group i have seen in a while. That is what has gotten them this far. No one is specail but like i said to Blaine the other day i will take 22 good football players over 5 really good ones and 17 mediocore ones any day.

Yes this is his best coaching job ever...without a doubt but give alot of credit to Dwayne Stanley as well...the defense has been unbelievable this year. '93 Was Colley's 2nd best job in my opinion.

His worst year as a coach was in '96 when he had alot of talent but played a tough schedule and went 5-5 even though they won the district. Should have gotten more out of '04 as well with that talent even though you can't say much negative about going 9-1.

He's done an amazing job this year. You can't really blame anyone except tyler patrick for us not going to the post season in 04.

The only real coaching decision that I feel was dumb was hiring Arney as Def. Coordinator.

when you start talking about arney you are talking about a coach I liked now you have your opnion and I have mine and I liked the guy as far as a coach he was as good as dewayne but I think he made better decisions as far as who to play nothing against dewayne he has done a great job this season (and since he took over)espically with roy and lucas

as far as coach he has done a really good job espically controlling himself he would like to throw the ball and run sweeps all of the time but to realize that jones is the motor of the offence and to build things arround him is great he has also done a good job developing lance

He was there my freshman year. Didn't have a problem with the guy but he wasn't a good coach.

I agree cool guy, bad coach. I think his first year there he lived in the coaches office half the time, but it didnt really help. Dewayne (Buddy Ryan) Stanley is the best Defencive coach ever at haysi.
